Giene Keyes is the Owner of The Dog Den®LLC, providing positive, structured dog daycare, training and behavior consultations.  Giene has been working with dogs and their owners for over 20 years.  Giene is a professional dog trainer and behavior specialist in Southern Wisconsin. She divides her time between teaching group classes and private lessons – Specializing in aggression cases.  Giene also works with rescue groups and shelters, evaluating dogs for adoption, developing Canine Aggression Management programs, and educating staff on dog language and behaviors.  She has provided behavior consultations for service dog organizations and rescue groups in the Midwest.  She is an Instructor with the American Red Cross in Pet CPR and First Aid, a Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator with the American Kennel Club, and a licensed judge for 4-H showmanship and obedience shows. Giene routinely presents seminars on dog behavior and training.

Private Sessions
Private Sessions are scheduled by appointment and cover concerns that are specific to you and your dog. These sessions are for all dog breeds and ages. They include (but certainly are not limited to):

• Retraining a rescue dog to adapt to your family life
• Evaluation of an adult dog for aggression or compatibility
• Overcoming shyness or fearfulness
• Basic manners for your home

Private Lesson rate is $70 per hour. We can meet at either The Dog Den or your home. For in-home lessons we just add the drive time to and from The Dog Den to the time of the lesson.
