The Dog Den’s celebration of the 134th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show
The week of Feb 8th-12th, the Dog Den will be celebrating our own version of Westminster dog show.
Each day we will have contests within each dog breed group to pick our winner! On Monday February 15th and Tuesday February 16th when the actual show will be aired, we will have our best in groups compete for a “best in show”.

Monday February 8th: Working Group and Non-Sporting
Contests: Best tail wag, Most spots, Most wrinkles, Best drooler
Tuesday February 9th: Sporting
Contests: Sweetest eyes, Best listener, Sweetest senior, Most active
Wednesday February 10th: Toy and Terriers
Contests: Most talkative, Best dressed, Best kisser, Most snuggles
Thursday February 11th: Hounds and Herding
Contests: Best singer, Fastest sit, Fastest recall, Shiniest coat, Best seeker
Friday February 12th: Mixed Breeds
Contests: Best sense of humor, Most fuzzy, shortest tail, Longest tail
Monday February 15th: Best in Show Competition
Contests: Fastest recall, Best tail wag, Most talkative, Most active, and Best sense of humor
Tuesday February 16th: Best in Show Announced!
Wednesday: Westminster results announced (free day for best in show breed attending daycare this day)
Rules of Competition:
Contestants must be present on their group day to be eligible for the contests (Feb. 8th-12th). For example, Labradors will be judged on Tuesday for the best in group. Winners will be announced each day on our Facebook page (you do not need to have a Facebook account to view the page) http://www.facebook.com/TheDogDen. Best in Show winners will be chosen from each group on Monday. Help us pick our Best in Show winners by voting on our Facebook page! Vote all week for your favorites for our Best In Show!

Friday Fun Night, February's Theme = Love Puppies! Friday, February 26th
Celebrate this "Love Month" with your friends at The Dog Den! Your pup will enjoy a strawberry smore in the evening, and a party playtime with all of our favorite pals. Lovey dovey photos will be emailed for parents to enjoy at home!
