There's a special connection that happens when you and your dog start working as a team and I love to see that evolve. And that doesn't just happen overnight. It might take days, weeks, even years, but it sure is worth every effort dog owners put into training their "buddy" to an outstanding canine citizen and all around well mannered dog. I have been teaching obedience classes for over 25 years in Madison and enjoy every minute of it. I have also been involved in many other dog-related activities and love the wide variety of things that can be done with your dog. I've had the pleasure of living with Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Weimaraners since 1975. Thanks to my dogs, I have traveled all over the United States attending events and meetings involving these breeds. But we don't need to travel far to enjoy the companionship our dogs give us. "The Journey IS the Reward." A simple walk can give us loads of fun and adventure. My dogs have earned titles from the breed and obedience ring, hunting field, lure coursing.
