Hi, I'm a student at UW Madison, studying zoology and conservation biology, with a passion for animal behavior. I've had a tremendous love for animals as long as I can remember, especially dogs! I grew up with all types of small pets, including mice, rabbits, and hamsters, but I desperately wanted a puppy. I got my wish in sixth grade, when my family brought home Gabe, a Yorkie-poo male. Even at such a young age, I was interested in dog behavior and was actively involved in his training. I am still fascinated by both dog behavior and training, to this day! Developing an understanding of dog (and human!) behaviors and devising ways to achieve effective communication between people and their pets are the aspects that interest me the most. After graduation, I hope to pursue a career that incorporates my love for animals.

Many of my best childhood memories contain Gabe. These days, he lives with my parents in Milwaukee. Being without the companionship of a dog while I'm at school is difficult, which is why I'm so fortunate to have found The Dog Den! Coming to work is like a dose of dog therapy for me. I'm so happy to be a part of The Dog Den pack, and I can't wait to get to know your pet!
