A:  October 26th, 2015

Q: What is your position/title?

A: Group Training Instructor

Q: What made you apply for this this job?

A: Training my own dog was a what unlocked our relationship. I love to help others develop and enhance their relationships with their dogs.

Q: What is your favorite part of daycare?

A: When I worked in daycare, I loved forming relationships with the dogs and their people. 

Q: What is your favorite part of training?

A:  Enhancing the lives of dogs and their people through relationship development, increased communication, and skill building. I love watching dogs and their people truly work together. 

Q: Favorite thing about your team?

A: I love how everyone always wants what's best for dogs and their people. 

Q: Favorite thing about the clients?

A: Seeing their deep love and devotion to the dogs is absolutely incredible. 

Q: Favorite thing about the dogs?

A: The dogs always warm my heart and make me smile. 

Q: Something unique about you – not related to the dogs

A: I have an educational background in chemistry and biochemistry, love of gardening, photography and have two human girls.

Q: Something you’d never guess I’d do/peg me for

A: I love both needle and wet felting. Creating pictures and 3D projects with wool helps me decompress and access the creator in me.

A:  Labrador

You are a strong, fierce, intelligent person with a strong playful streak. You can be naughty and rambunctious, but your loyalty is until death. Q: Which breed did you grow up with? 

A:  Golden Retrievers-One in particular, Maui, was a teenage girl’s best confidant and pal

Q: Tell us about the pets that you live with now?

A: We have one dog, Avett and English Cocker Spaniel. He brought me to dog training and I'll be forever grateful. He loves balls, swimming, balls, treats, balls, his family, balls, people, balls and flyball.

Q: Favorite color

A: Blue! I like all shades, but lighter blues and periwinkles best. 

Q: Anything to add?

A: Thank you to everyone who trusts me with your dogs and your time. I am truly grateful for the time I get to work with you.

Q: Share a boring fact about yourself

A: I am obsessed with Costco. I know I'm not alone and it's not unique, but hotdog I love Costco.

Q: If you could have 1 super power, what would it be?

A: Breathe underwater. I would love to be a mermaid. 

Q: What weird collections do you have

A: Everything sentimental. I keep cards, drawings from my kids, gifts, souvenirs...If I can attach a feeling or memory to something, I probably keep it. 

Q: If you were a candle, what scent would you be?

A: Cider and Oak from Target. My sister just introduced me to it and it’s perfect. Warm, a little sweet, and earthy.  

Q; If you could have one super power, what would it be?

A:  As a mom to a human toddler, I would want to freeze time. I’d freeze time to lock in our best moments, but also so time stops for everyone else and I could catch up on things.

 Q: What weird collections do you have?  

A: Everything. I’m a bit of a sentimental hoarder. I keep just about everything if I can make a connection to a person, place, or event that’s special to me. My husband and I collect stickers from breweries we’ve visited and they decorate our mini fridge that holds drinks. 

Q; What ice cream are you?

A: All of them. Ice cream is one of my greatest “guilty” pleasures. If I had to pick just one to describe me, it’d probably be cookie dough.
