Enrichment Program
Welcome to our Enrichment Program!
What is enrichment?
Enrichment can be simply summed up as meeting the animal’s needs - physical, mental, and emotional.
Our standard daycare program addresses some areas of enrichment. And our enrichment program will help to supplement daycare with additional opportunities to help meet the needs of each of our dogs - that is customized to each specific dog!

Our monthly enrichment program will consist of a different enrichment activity each week. We will be incorporating food enrichment, sensory enrichment, skill-building enrichment, and physical enrichment activities each month.
Tactile enrichment: From working on balance and strength, to new surfaces, strange objects, and fun obstacle courses this monthly enrichment activity is all about confidence building and body awareness!
Sensory enrichment: Sniffing out a scent, digging in a sandbox, finding hidden snacks. Your dog will be using their different senses each month!
Skill building enrichment: A new trick each month! We will be advancing the trick as your dog gets better and better. Learn something new or expand on something they may know already!
Physical enrichment: One on One time! Does your dog love tug? Pool time? Fetch? Snuggles? This week’s activity will be all about one-on-one time tailored to your dog’s favorite activities!
Food Enrichment (Licki mats, Kong's, etc.) will now be offered at all times for a price of just $10. So if you forget their lunch, want to give them an extra brain activity, or are working on settling in a crate we can add this activity on at any time! April 28 – May 2: Cake Walk
This week we’re celebrating 20 years with a good ol’ fashion cake walk. At The Dog Den, every dog is a winner!
May 5-9: Stars Wars Week
May the 4th be with you this week while we perfect our Jedi skills. Our dogs will be go through Jedi training including lightsaber mastery, stealth skills, repelling and attracting objects, and more!
May 12-16: Sesame Street Week
In this week’s activities, we will be helping Cookie Monster find his cookies - or we’ll Find that Bird with Big Bird - or we’ll be searching for Oscar through all the trash. It’s a week sure to be filled with fun and learning!
May 19-23: Disney Sidekick Week
This week we enter into Disney Bootcamp! Does your pup have what it takes to be a Disney sidekick? We’ll find out when they must make their way through obstacle courses, use their best dance moves as distractors, and find great disguises to hide in plain sight!
May 26-30: Wizard of Oz Week
We’re off to see the Wizard! We’ll follow the yellow brick road to find Toto, explore the Emerald City, dance with the Munchkins, and spend time with Glinda!
Pricing
Membership Pricing: $15/month
Beginning in January 2024, our enrichment pricing will be simplified. Enrichment members pay a membership fee $15 per month billed monthly*. Membership give you a discounted rate on any activities, which are billed separately.
Members enjoy a 50% discounted rate off the drop-in price for the enrichment activities. These are billed at the time of service.
Space is limited so be sure to sign up today!
*Must be purchased in advance for the entire month. Automatic billing for the membership fees will occur on the 1st of the month. Cancel anytime!
Drop-In Spots: Priced per activity**
**non-members can sign up for the activities on a drop-in basis for $20 an activity. If you do 2 or more activities per month, the membership saves you money!
