Full Day: $68 total

Package Policies
5-day packages expire after 2 months
10-day packages expire after 4 months
20-day packages expire after 6 months
Prepaid packages are non-refundable
Packages do not secure a daycare spot without a reservation

Daycare Hours
Regular Daycare Hours
Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Adult Daycare and Puppy Daycare follow the same hours
Half-Day Options
Morning: 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Early & Late Fees
Early Drop-Off (6:00–6:30 AM): $5
Late Pick-Up (6:00–6:15 PM): $10
After 6:15 PM: $1 per minute

Lobby Hours
Our lobby is staffed and open during designated hours to support scheduled daycare drop-off and pick-up.
Lobby Hours
Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Monday–Friday: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Dogs with scheduled daycare reservations may be dropped off or picked up anytime during lobby hours.
If you need to drop off or pick up outside of lobby hours, please call ahead so our team can assist you.
Lobby hours are separate from daycare hours and do not apply to tours or unscheduled visits.

Reservations & Cancellations
All daycare reservations must be made in advance
Reservations are required even when using prepaid packages
Cancellation Policy
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
If a reservation is not canceled by the end of business the day before your scheduled daycare day, you will be billed for a full day. This allows us to offer spots to dogs on our waitlist.

We are closed for daycare on the following holidays:
2026 Closures
Memorial Day – May 25
Independence Day – July 3
Labor Day – September 7
Thanksgiving – November 26 & 27
Christmas & New Year’s Break – December 24, 2026 through January 3, 2027
Additional closures will be communicated as needed.

Weather Closures
The Dog Den strives to keep our dogs, our clients, and our staff safe, especially in inclement weather.
If Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) is closed due to weather, The Dog Den will also close.

Health & Vaccination Requirements
To attend daycare at The Dog Den or The Puppy Den, all dogs must meet age-appropriate health requirements.

Bordetella
We accept titers. If you’re unsure what your dog needs, please contact us.
Additional Health Requirements
Clear fecal within 6 months of starting daycare
Current wellness exam with a local veterinarian
Dogs attending adult daycare locations must be spayed or neutered
Health records must be on file prior to a dog’s first day of daycare.
Add-Ons & Additional Services
Optional services available to enrolled daycare clients may include:
Food enrichment (stuffed toys or lick mats – $10)

Grooming Services for Daycare Dogs
Nail Clipping: $22
Ear & Eye Wipe: $5
Light Brushing: Free (upon request)
Deep Brushing: $10 per 15 minutes
