🐾 Ang 🐾
Lead Senior Dog | Fitchburg Co-Coordinator | Training Instructor
B.S. Biology, FDM, CPACM, CPDT-KA, CTDI, Canine Enrichment Technician, Fear Free Certified
Ang has been an essential part of The Dog Den team since 2013, bringing over a decade of expertise in dog behavior, training, and enrichment. With a B.S. in Biology and multiple certifications in positive reinforcement and canine enrichment, Ang combines deep scientific knowledge with a joyful, relationship-based approach to working with dogs and their people.
Her training style focuses on meeting dogs exactly where they are, building trust through enrichment, games, and positive reinforcement. Whether she’s working with a reactive pup or encouraging a shy dog to come out of their shell, Ang’s goal is always the same: to create confident dogs and empowered humans.
Ang wears many hats at The Dog Den—co-leading the Fitchburg team, instructing group classes and private lessons, mentoring staff, and developing monthly enrichment activities for the dogs. She’s known for hiking with the Trails Club, helping dogs feel safe at the vet, and making clients laugh with holiday photo shoots starring very patient pups in costume.
She shares her life with Grady, a lab/golden mix with big feelings and a nose for finding animal skeletons, and Glitch, her self-described “labrador in a cat body” who loves everything (except squirrels). Together, they hike, kayak, and enjoy every season outdoors.
Ang’s favorite moments are when something clicks—that lightbulb moment when a dog proudly masters a new skill and their person beams with joy. She’s passionate about using scent work and trick training as confidence-building tools, and she especially loves helping shy or reactive dogs find their place in the world.
When she's not with dogs, Ang is probably curled up with a book, working on a puzzle, or soaking in the sun on a patio with friends. Her thoughtful presence, quick laugh, and endless curiosity make her a favorite among dogs, staff, and clients alike.
