Playgroup Leader | Assistant Trainer
B.S. Animal Science, Pet First Aid Certified

Jordan has been a Playgroup Leader at The Dog Den for the past two years, bringing a mix of knowledge, patience, and good humor to the daycare floor every day. With a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Jordan combines an academic foundation with hands-on experience to help dogs feel safe, engaged, and happy during their time at daycare.

Her training approach focuses on building strong bonds through positive reinforcement, creating an environment where dogs can relax, learn, and be their naturally silly selves. Jordan loves that no two days—or two dogs—are ever the same, and finds joy in the goofy antics that guarantee at least one smile or laugh every shift.

At home, Jordan shares life with Memphis, a hound mix who’s a unique blend of four coonhound breeds—Treeing Walker, Redbone, Bluetick, and American English. Having a reactive dog of her own has given her a deeper appreciation for the power of training and the reward of progress, both for dogs and their people.

When she first joined The Dog Den, it was simply a way to gain more experience in the animal field before applying to vet school. But over time, the work became a true passion—especially seeing how even small amounts of training can transform a dog’s confidence and behavior.

Outside of work, Jordan has a unique hobby: collecting root beer bottles from different places and brands, adding a fun and quirky twist to her life story.

On a typical day, you’ll find Jordan on the daycare floor, keeping playgroups safe, balanced, and full of fun. Her goal is simple: to make sure every dog leaves happier than when they arrived.
