🐾 Kelly 🐾

Playgroup Leader Plus | Administrative & Client Relations Coordinator
Fear Free Certified | Pet First Aid Certified | FetchFind Certified

Kelly has been part of The Dog Den family for four years, combining her love for hands-on time with the dogs and her talent for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. As both a Playgroup Leader Plus and Administrative & Client Relations Coordinator, Kelly gets the best of both worlds—working directly with the pups while supporting their humans with top-notch service and communication.

Her training style is positive reinforcement, relationship-focused, and fear-free, always aiming to make every interaction safe, supportive, and fun. Kelly loves working with such a variety of dog and human personalities, and one of her favorite moments is at the end of the day—when dog and owner are reunited, and the love between them is undeniable.

Kelly’s furry family includes Ollie, a 6-year-old Golden Retriever who lives for outdoor adventures—hiking, swimming, kayaking, digging, and rolling in the dirt are all fair game. Ollie also has a major sweet tooth 🍨. Kelly’s household is rounded out by her two 11-year-old cats, Adelaide and Pot Pie, who excel at knocking things off counters and stealing laps at dinnertime.

Her journey with The Dog Den began in 2019 as a client. After adopting Ollie—her first puppy—Kelly threw herself into training and daycare, taking every class she could. Ollie loved his time at The Puppy Den so much that Kelly knew she’d found her community. By 2021, she joined the team and hasn’t looked back—finally able to talk about dogs as much as she wants without anyone telling her she’s overdoing it.

Day-to-day, you’ll often find Kelly at checkout at our Puppy Den and Fitchburg locations, greeting clients and sharing updates about their dogs’ day. She also handles administrative work like answering emails, enrolling new pups, and keeping schedules organized. Whether she’s managing the details or enjoying a moment on the floor with the dogs, Kelly’s priority is making sure both pets and people feel valued and cared for.
