🐾 Rob 🐾

Playgroup Leader
Pet First Aid & CPR Certified

Rob is one of the newest additions to The Dog Den team, but his thoughtful approach and deep respect for the dogs in his care already make a significant impact. As a Playgroup Leader, Rob is focused on providing a safe, clean, and engaging environment where dogs can interact, play, and grow—both physically and mentally.

Though he’s still early in his career in dog care, Rob brings a strong foundation in health and wellness, and a natural ability to observe and respond to each dog’s unique personality. He’s especially curious about how dogs communicate, and is always learning from their interactions with one another.

Rob’s training philosophy centers around trust-building. He believes every dog deserves the chance to feel secure and understood, and he works hard to earn their trust through consistency, calmness, and respect.

He shares his life with Monkey D. Luffy (yes, named after his favorite anime), and one of his primary motivations for joining The Dog Den was to make sure his own dog got the social interaction and enrichment he truly deserved. That commitment to care now extends to every pup he works with.

Rob has lived in four different countries and brings a unique global perspective and calm demeanor to his role. His personal story includes an incredible chapter of service—he is a retired Purple Heart veteran, and his strength, compassion, and resilience shine through in everything he does.

Each day at The Dog Den, Rob is deepening his knowledge, growing in his role, and discovering just how much joy there is in learning from dogs. He’s especially drawn to their personalities—the way each one expresses themselves, builds friendships, and finds their place in the group.
